5TH DECEMBER 2015 – THE INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEER DAY – JOIN US!

It is a great occasion to become a volunteer for the first time, or if you already have experience-to share it with others and integrate

We would like to invite you to building-workshop – together we will build winter cathouses for the stray urban felines!

When? 5th of December (Saturday) from 11:30 am until we are out of materials or too tired to do more
Where? In the University Volunteers Centre office – it is situated in the University Library building (Dobra 56/66), on the ground floor next to restaurant Fenomenalna.
Our Goal: Celebrating the International Volunteer Day together and building as many cathouses as possible!
University Volunteers Center provides all the materials!

All the cathouses are going to be winter shelters for the urban cats all over Warsaw and its suburbs. Together we can provide a lot of warm shelters for our furry friends, which are keeping the rodents away from our houses!

What we guarantee: usefully spent time, good company, new practical and conceptual experiences in the field of construction, coffee, tea, cookies, University Volunteers Centre bandanas, a lot of fun, pride and delight of done work, gratitude of urban felines, integration and experience exchange with other builders, and if you will need – certificate of participation in the workshop.

During the workshop, there will be the possibility of having a chat with volunteers from dog and cat shelters, and they will tell you everything about helping stray animals in Warsaw!

We also collect food for the cat and dog shelters so if you would like to, you can bring some treats and pet food!
