European University Debating Championship for the first time in Poland! On the 14th-20th of August 2016 the most important tournament of academic debates in Europe will take place at the Warsaw School of Economics and the University of Warsaw.
Teams of two will compete for the title of the best speakers. The discussions on social-economic themes will be judged by the winners of previous editions. This competition requires analytic skills, smart thinking and attentively listening to others. 700 participants from 32 countries will take part in 600 debates during 5 days – this means 36 000 minutes of discussion!
If you are into social, political and economic affairs and want to participate in organization of a world class event, join the team of EUDC 2016.
Your task will be to:
- register the participants (will require usage of special software);
- direct the participants to the places of the event and to the public transportation facilities;
- take care of the important contest documents;
- support organization of the debates in general.
You must:
- speak English fluently;
- be able to participate in training on the 12th-13th of August 2016;
- be able to involve on the 14th-20th of August 2016;
- know how to use Excell and other Office software.
It would be welcomed if:
- you can bring your own laptop computer;
- you have driver’s license.
You can get:
- accommodation if you don’t live in Warsaw;
- catering during the events;

- possibility to meet lots of people from all over the world.
The main organizer is Foundation Poland Debates. The event is part of the 200th anniversary of the University of Warsaw.
