Spring is on its way, and so are our multicultural meetings! This time, we’re diving into the rich traditions of Nowruz with special hosts: Reikhan from Azerbaijan, Miella and Fatima from Kyrgyzstan. They’ll share how Nowruz is celebrated in their home countries and introduce you to unique customs and festivities.

When: Thursday, 20th March 2025, at 6:00 PM

Where: The Volunteer Centre of The University of Warsaw (BUW building)

What will happen?

In this two-hour session, you’ll learn all about Nowruz, its deep cultural significance, and the various traditions surrounding it. Discover fascinating customs from different countries, and even join in on some fun, hands-on activities.

You’ll have the chance to:

• Learn traditional dance moves and games
• Explore the art of old calligraphy
• Discover other delightful traditions tied to Nowruz

This is an amazing opportunity to expand your cultural horizons right here in Warsaw, while meeting fellow university students from diverse backgrounds.
