The Volunteer Center and the Nowolipie Intergenerational Activity Centre (CAM) are joining forces again! This time, as part of the „Filling in pets’ bellies 9” action, we will prepare toys for cats and dogs looking for homes. We are waiting for volunteer applications until February 14.
What will we do?
During the workshop, your task will be to create DIY toys for dogs and cats from the Zwierzochron Foundation, Zwierzęca Polana Foundation and Warsaw Shelter. Together with seniors from the Nowolipie Intergenerational Activity Centre, you will prepare mats and chew toys for dogs and catnip pillows for cats. The organizers provide the necessary materials and support of the person conducting the meeting.
Where?
The workshops will take place at the Nowolipie Intergenerational Activity Centre, Nowolipie 25b (near the Ratusz Arsenał metro station, Kino Femina bus stop).
When?
February 15 (Wednesday) at 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
We kindly ask you to book time to participate in the entire workshop.
We invite the entire community of the University of Warsaw to join the workshop: students, PhD students, graduates, as well as active and retired employees.
Why is it worth joining the action? It’s:
- An opportunity to spend the afternoon pleasantly doing something for others;
- A chance to meet new people and share stories over warming tea;
- A chance to make cats and dogs happy;
- In addition volunteers will receive certificates and a set of gadgets.
