Crocheting is your passion? Do you find doing small art work or handicrafts relaxing? Or maybe since January you’ve had the idea of trying something new and creative?

We invite you to an evening with handcrafts, i.e. a meeting-workshop during which we will create works that will be donated to the Zwierzochron Foundation. The effects of our work will be auctioned, and the proceeds will go to helping animals under the organization’s care.

Date: March 6, 2024, 17:00-19:00 (we will stay longer if necessary)
Place: Volunteer Centere of the University of Warsaw
(Building of the University Library in Warsaw, ul. Dobra 56/66, ground floor)
The meeting will be held in Polish and English.

Do you want to join the meeting, but handcraft is something new to you?
Don’t worry! This is a great opportunity to learn something new from other VC UW volunteers and we will invite beginners to make simple animal toys.

VC UW guarantees:

• presence of meeting animators,
• yarn, crochet and materials for creating animal toys,
• something delicious.

• meet other people who are passionate about handicrafts,
• relax in a pleasant atmosphere,
• gain new skills and inspiration.

A little inspiration and suggestions from us
We encourage you to be creative, but we also have some suggestions for you to implement during the meeting:

• bottle/thermos cover,
• hanging flower stand,
• crochet cup coasters,
• dog rags and bandages,
• fishing rods for cats and catnip pillows.

It is possible to make other works, then please bring the necessary additional materials.
