We’re looking for extra volunteers to co-host the cultural stands for the countries listed below during Miasteczko na Styku Kultur – Cultural HotSpot UW – the biggest multicultural event at the University of Warsaw, happening on May 23rd (Friday) at the Main Campus of UW (26/28 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street).

Are you from one of the following countries?

• Bangladesh 
• Sudan
• Romania
• Italy

If you wanted to present your country there but didn’t sign up because you were afraid you’d be alone – here’s your second chance! Our current volunteers will gladly welcome your company to co-create something great together.

This call for help only applies to the nationalities mentioned above, the call for new cultures is already closed.

What do we expect from you?

• to team up with our current volunteers in preparing the cultural stand of your country,
• to be available on May 23rd from 11 a.m. till 4 p.m.

There will also be an organisational meeting, held separately for each culture, between May 8th and 14th. Due to the short notice, attendance will not be mandatory, but it would be great if you could take part! We’ll send all the details after the recruitment process.

We are also inviting you to the multicultural workshop on Friday, May 16th at 5:00–6:30 p.m. Attendance is not obligatory, but it’s a perfect opportunity to meet other volunteers and become part of the Cultural HotSpot UW community before the event!

If you are already registered as a volunteer at the Volunteer Centre, you don’t need to fill in the form again – just send us an email. We’ll connect you with the right person!

Please note that there is a limit of volunteers per stand, so we can only accept up to 4 more people from each country!
