DUE TO THE HUGE INTEREST, THE LIST OF VOLUNTEERS IS ALREADY FULL.

A prestigious international conference will take place at the University of Warsaw, and you can become a part of the team supporting its organisation! It is a great opportunity to practice English skills while meeting the representatives of universities from all over Europe. You will also learn how the organisation of such a big event at our University looks like!

Conference 2019 European Learning & Teaching Forum – Towards successful learning: Controversies and common ground organized by The European University Association (EUA).

When will your help be needed?

13.02 from 15:00 to 20:00 (3 pm to 8 pm)
14.02 from 8:30 to 17:30 (8:30 am to 5:30 pm) [last few places left]
15.02 from 9:00 – 15:00 (9 am to 3pm) [last few places left]

(You do not have to get involved for all three days, but it is important that you can be with us on a certain day from the beginning to the end, as the schedule indicates)

Where will the conference take place?
The Central Campus of the University of Warsaw
Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28

The tasks for the Volunteers:

• Assist in setup of the conference venue.
• Help in the registration of the participants.
• Providing information to participants during the conference.
• Room assistance during lectures and conference sessions.

The volunteers should have following features and skills:

• Fluent communication skills in English.
• Openness and communicativeness.
• Positive attitude.
• Good self-organization and conscientiousness.
• Responsibility!

Why is it worth to involve?

• You will train your communication skills.
• You will gain experience in the organisation of international, big conference.
• You will meet a lot of people from our University and from other European universities.
• You will receive volunteer certificate for involvement at the University of Warsaw.
• You will get a set of UW gadgets (including the hoodie of the University of Warsaw!)

The coordinator of the event provides lunch and beverages for all of the volunteers.

Although we suggest you not to wait until the last moment, as the number of volunteers that we can invite to join us on this event is limited.
