Born in Nigeria, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at Bayero University in kano. During my studies, I participated in organizing tutorial sessions for fresh students, and then went further to join the Students’ Chemical Society where we usually organize extracurricular activities such as the so-called chemical week, where chemists display a lot of interesting performances and conferences targeting academia and industry. At present, I am rounding up MSc in Chemistry at the University of Warsaw. I participated in some extracurricular activities by the Welcome Point and research projects at the Faculty of Chemistry. My participation in the Make it Visible project organized by the Welcome Point allowed me to appreciate extracurricular activities and diversity in the student community.
