There are diverse possibilities to implement your projects!

Your head is full of ideas, but you don’t know what to do to turn them into action? Do you want to implement your initiatives? Or maybe you are planning a project but want to get to know the needs of your target group better? If you are looking for answers to any of these questions, come to the workshop organized by the Volunteer Centre of the University of Warsaw on November 20th.

We invite people who want to start their adventure with social activity or who have already made the first steps in this type of initiatives to participate in the workshop organized as part of the programme „UW Students taking Action”.

The meetings will be hosted by Małgorzata Tur, a sociologist, educator, member of the NGO Trainers’ Association, a member and founder of the Service Civil International Pool of Trainers, covering 43 countries from 5 continents.

Workshop: How to recognize the target group of your activities?

For whom?

For people who would like to learn how to define and get to know the target group of their activities better and to meet their needs.

During the workshop, participants will:

• learn what the target group is and why defining the target group is so important when planning activities

• practice recognizing the target group

• learn how to analyse it

• deal with the formulation of the goals of their social activities

Thanks to the workshop you will learn:

• how to determine the target group of your activities and analyse its needs

• how to formulate real goals of undertaken initiatives

• what steps to take to implement the project

How to participate in the workshop?

and write what social activities are interesting or inspiring for you and why.

There is also a possibility to join our Polish Language Beginners Club and join weekly meetings about the basics of Polish language. Emilian, African Studies Student, will take you on the adventure with Polish language! The meetings are free of charge, will take around 1 hour, and will be run in English. We expect members of the Club to participate in meetings weekly on Fridays at 4:00 pm (not just one time).

The first meeting will take place on Friday 15th November at 4 pm in the Volunteer Centre of UW (UW’s Library building on Street Dobra 56/66). If you would like to join, please send us an email: wolontariat[at]uw.edu.pl by Wednesday (13.11) noon.
