Have you been thinking about learning something new lately? Or maybe you’re just looking for a cosy way to spend an autumn evening in good company? We invite you to a beginners’ crocheting workshop that combines learning new skills with helping animals in need!

When: Wednesday, 6th November, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Where: Faculty of Modern Languages Library, 55 Dobra Street

Why should you join?

• You’ll learn the basics of crocheting.
• You’ll meet new people in an informal and friendly atmosphere.
• You’ll support animals – as an „entry fee”, bring cat or dog food for the Zwierzochron Foundation.
• You’ll leave the workshop with a handmade cup coaster, pendant, or bookmark.
• P.S. Crocheting is a great way to relax and reduce stress!

Who’s invited?
The workshop is open to the University of Warsaw community – students, PhD candidates, graduates and employees.

The event will be held in both Polish and English.

How to sign up?
Send an email by 3rd November to wolontariat[at]uw.edu.pl, including your full name and the workshop title „Autumn Crocheting for Beginners: Create and Help.” Places are limited, so don’t wait – reserve your spot today!

Please note: About 20–30 people will participate in the workshop, and the learning process will involve interaction with others. Please consider this when deciding to join the event.

All materials will be provided – all you need is your enthusiasm and a friendly attitude!

The workshop is organised as part of the annual UW action for animals – Filling in pets’ bellies.
