Ainur Kakimova is a first year doctoral student at the Doctoral School of Humanities at the University of Warsaw. She was a member of youth political organization during her bachelor’s studies at the M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan State University. During her master’s studies, Ainur was a member of Model United Nations (MUN) club, and participated in the organization of MUN International Conference 2018 at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Astana. She was invited to the symposium on young people’s political participation in Strasbourg organized by the EU-Council of Europe youth partnership. Ainur was awarded a number of grants for her academic excellence and active social engagement, among them the scholarships from DAAD and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
