Winter Workshop! Mission: Christmas Tree!

Join the Christmas mission organized by the Volunteer Centre of the University of Warsaw! Together with friends, make a Christmas tree for small patients of the Warsaw Children’s Hospital. All you need is three hours of your time and a little bit of motivation. The task is quite simple; you will receive the tips and tutorials from the Volunteer Centre team. The main goal is to make children smile!

To start the mission you need to:

  1. Gather a crew! The best number of brave participants is three.
  2. Set the date!
  3. Make sure everyone filled in the Volunteer Form! You will find it here: VOLUNTEER FORM
  4. Is your team ready*? Have you chosen the date? It’s time to send us an email at wolontariat[at]uw.edu.pl with information when and with whom you want to accomplish the mission. Then, we will send you instructions on how to make a Christmas tree. We are waiting for your message till 10th December.

* Attention! If you don’t gather a crew, you can also submit your application. We will try to find you companions.

Who can take part in the mission?
Basically everyone who is somehow connected with the University of Warsaw – students, graduates, PhD students and employees. We also invite MUW students.

When?
– 13th December (Friday) between 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM.
– 16th December (Monday) between 4:30 PM and 7:30 PM.

The number of participants for one day is limited, so the sooner you will send us an email the better!

Where?
In the Volunteer Centre of UW, which is located in the University of Warsaw Library building, Dobra 56/66.

We have also prepared an award for the most festive Christmas Tree!
There will be a photo gallery on Facebook, where everyone will be invited to give their votes-likes. The crew, which receives the highest number of likes wins and will receive a gift!
